When I was a child, I studied at Campo Kennedy primary
school. I was happy to be part of the marching band, for everyone was expecting to be part of it. I
remember once, our leader told us we had to play in a really big parade, so we got really nervous
because we knew some of the best marching bands were going to be there as well.
That’s why, our leader made us
practice very hard every single day, and no one was hesitant we were capable of making a
great performance that night.
Each of my friends was invited to the parade by my mom, so I couldn’t get them to miss it;
of course I was trying to avoid being seen by my close friends. The expected
day finally arrived, and everything seemed to be perfect, but once we started playing our leader had us
play some songs differently from the way we had practiced. Unfortunately
for me, in our final performance in front of lots of people and the judges, I
forgot the leader’s instructions and I messed it up. I was really embarrassed because
my leader instead of helping me, he came close to me and looked at me full of
anger, so it was noticeable for everyone I had made a huge mistake in the most
important part of the parade.
